Kringleville's 43rd Season Comes to a Successful End
My Dear Young Friends in Central Maine and Beyond,
The 2012 Kringleville Season is finally behind us and I am delighted to have seen so many of you once again this year. In our 43rd season in Waterville, Maine we saw over 15,000 people come through my little cottage in Castonguay Square, making this the most successful Christmas season ever. I love visiting with each and every one of you and can't wait for November 29th, 2013 when I come back to Central Maine for my 44th visit.
Between November 23 rd and December 22 nd we had the pleasure of seeing children from all over New England, from all over Maine and even many of you visiting from abroad. Each and every year I am more and more amazed at all the friends I have a chance to see. I thank all of you who waited in cold, long lines to see Mrs. Claus, all my special elves and me. Of course I was not able to see all of you and it is with heavy heart that this happens. It is truly unfortunate when I can't see all of you. You see, Ole Santa doesn't belong to just the children of Maine , but to all the children from all over the world. We do try our best.
Now that the New Year has arrived, many people need to be thanked for all the work they did in order to make this Kringleville season a success. To the Waterville Main Street crew and Jennifer Olsen, many thanks go out for all their long hours in making the Parade of Lights and Kringleville all it was. To the sponsors: we thank you. None of this can happen without your time and dedication. A special thank you goes out to Central Maine Photography, Michaud's Welding and Trailer, 93.5 True Oldies, Central Maine Motors, Mr. Chuck Lakin, the City of Waterville's Public works and Parks and Recreation and the countless volunteers who logged in so many hours to make each and every year more and more successful. I am certain I am forgetting people and I apologize now for that. There are so many elves that make it all possible. Just know you are loved and appreciated for all you do for the children of Central Maine.
With that in mind, I say good bye for a while. Remember that my elves are always watching you. They are here and they are there and they know what you are all up to. I know the kindness and love that lives in all your hearts and I know how hard you all try to be good children all year long. Remember to follow the Golden Rule. Treat others the way you want to be treated. If we can all do that, we truly will have the Peace on Earth that was promised to all of us on that first Christmas Night over 2000 years ago. Above anything else know that I love all of you and believe in each of you. Have a great 2013. Before you know it I will be making my way down Main Street Waterville , Maine U.S.A. for another wonderful Christmas Season.
Your Friend Forever,
