2012 Parade of Lights

Downtown Waterville's annual holiday parade, held the evening after Thanksgiving, has drawn thousands of families to Main Street for many years and serves as a fun and festive kick off to the holiday season. What better time of the
year to get together and show our community spirit and support for one another!

Waterville Main Street is continuing this wonderful tradition, and we would like to
invite you to participate. The 7th Annual Parade of Lights will be held on Friday, November 23, at 6pm
beginning at the north end of Main Street in Downtown Waterville and ending at Castonguay Square with the lighting of the giant spruce and Santa's arrival at Kringleville. We would like to invite all area schools, businesses, churches, organizations and municipalities to participate in the parade by entering a float,
marching band, or other appropriate entry.

If you would like to participate in the Parade of Lights, please fill download the entry form and return it by November 9. Please note that we are limiting the number of floats to 25, so register early to ensure participation. We ask that you please decorate your float using holiday or winter themed decorations and LIGHTS, LIGHTS, LIGHTS! The more lights the better! Please note that the official Kringleville Santa is the only Santa allowed in the Parade. The same goes for Mrs. Claus!
